The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Breast Clinics are the busiest in wales seeing over 5000 patients per year with 500 cancers being detected and diagnosed every year.
To improve the service of patients with all breast conditions the ABUHB are building a “Centre of Excellence” at Ysbuty Ystrad Fach Hospital in Ystrad Mynach. Due for completion by 2021 the unit will provide state of the art facilities for patients and staff.
